Brain Power Versus Billionaires

About 45 per cent of billionaires are in the top one per cent for brainpower, says Jonathan Wai of Duke University

 Do you know there is a strong correlation between billionaires and their brainpower. Sources have disclosed that "the top one per cent of wealthy people and the top one per cent for brainpower strongly overlap, reports CNBC."

The study also found that 88 per cent of billionaires graduated from college - but dropping out of Harvard didn't stop Mark Zuckerberg making his fortune [link]. 

 A group of them have faced great setbacks before and have experienced rejection and failures but one thing makes them stand out - Brain Power. They have been known to have a very high IQ in terms of managing people, delivering projects and incubating new ideas. Most of them are very thorough in their dealings with people. 

Billionaires are Visionaries. They see where others cannot see and they go where everyone is afraid of going. They think long term. They are very focused people. And they have good faith in themselves and in people.

Forbes published a rundown on APR 10, 2013 of America's top-paid CEOs, based on data from its annual billionaires list. That's how we learned that there's an annual billionaires list, because apparently billionaires need something to obsess over besides billions of dollars. There are 1,426 billionaires among the human race's 7 billion or so members, meaning you have a roughly .00002 percent chance of becoming a billionaire, all other things being equal. But of course all things are unequal, and your odds are pretty improved if you didn't grow up in a favela or a shanty on the banks of the Ganges. (Good news, developed America: You account for 442 billionaires, the most of any country on the list!)

Ok now, where do you belong? Where do you belong in the very slow-growing list of the most influencial persons in the world. Though the chance of becoming one is thin like he said, but there is still an opportunity to be among them. Below are probable steps to take in that direction.

Start Dreaming: There are no limits to the extent of ideas you can tap when you begin to imagine things, within and without this world. Russian billionaire and media mogul Dmitry Itskov made a big splash last year when he created the 2045 Initiative, which brought 30 top Russian scientists on board to create an international research center to study immortality.
